IS Britain Broken?

On Wednesday night a “fellow Brit” at the London hustings felt it appropriate to ask how the democratically elected leader of one of the nations in this voluntary Union should be “suppressed”.

This was greeted with laughter (including that of the candidates) and applause from the audience.

Not even the not-in-Vogue Truss, Sunak and the denying-of-a-democratic mandate Starmer have gone as far as to talk, openly at least, about suppression.

If ever there was an example of just how broken the awesome foursome is, that was it.

It was a disgusting, xenophobic question asked by a member of an equally disgusting party, and one with which Labour, in Scotland, is co-operating.

But the fact that such a question is even asked, like the Broken Britain question, is even more telling than any answer to it.
