WHY did Douglas Ross go on about indyref2 at First Minister’s Questions on Thursday? Could it be because Mr Ross and the Conservatives in Scotland have no answers to the cost of living crisis? Could it be an attempt to take the focus off the Westminster Government, who are in turmoil, and ultimately take the focus off himself, who incidentally is in a very precarious position?

There were no proposals or remedies from Mr Ross to the cost-of-living crisis the country is currently in – a cost of living crisis exacerbated by the austerity policies of his Conservative government at Westminster.

The main opposition in Scotland really need a reality check, because despite their lethargic attempt to run down the Holyrood government’s proposals for indyref2, the determination for the go-ahead came forth from the First Minister herself, at First Minister’s Questions on Thursday.
