REES-MOGG now changing the narrative – poor Boris was given wrong information about rule-breaking. Poor thing, his eyes and ears are not working – the rot is from the top and he is now making liars of every Tory who defends him.
So laughable that head of ethics has been fined – she obviously was unaware of rules, or is she ethically challenged?

And in la la land the Chancellor is on holiday at his £5.2m property on America’s west coast – leaving behind £37bn of fraud written off from various Covid schemes while benefits are cut and anyone who gets a penny more than thought to be entitled to is hounded through the courts.

REGARDLESS of any polls, some significant amount of twonks will still vote Tory. It’s something to do with am inane belief that somehow voting Conservative elevates you in the class stakes? You might not have a pot to pee in, but you’re somewhat better class that your neighbour who’s not got a pot either.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
