IF anyone wishes an insight into the nature of the future of the UK under a Johnson-led Tory government, I advise them to consider how Andrew Brigden told Channel Four News that one of the priorities of a Tory government would be to abolish the Supreme Court.

A moment’s reflection should alert anyone to the chilling consequences of such a remark and the repercussions its presages.

The Supreme Court justice supported the Scottish courts and ruled the prorogation of parliament unlawful. As a result, because they disagreed with the Tories and failed to support them, they will have to go.

No law, no legal ruling will be allowed to get in these people’s way. Britain is getting very close to fascist; the Tory party is already there.
