TEEN climate campaigner Greta Thunberg has backed the First Minister's decision to declare a climate emergency in a tweet.
Having initiated the global school strike over climate change movement The Swedish activist has been pressuring international governments to take action on and understand the severity of environmental damage.

The 16-year-old recently addressed MPs at the House of Commons and met with the party leaders, including the SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford.
In her tweet, Thunberg shared a link to an article reporting on Nicola Sturgeon's move to declare a climate emergency, and quoted a line from the story.
At the SNP Spring Conference yesterday, the FM received a standing ovation after announcing the climate emergency.
