Scotland is energy rich yet fuel poor
ANENT the vast increase in renewable power generation, my point is that as the vast majority of the population struggle with ever-increasing bills, what use has green energy been to us here in Scotland?
Having witnessed the transformative wealth that came Qatar’s way (a despicable country in almost every way (how can it be that an energy-rich country such as ours can suffer from so much fuel poverty?
Rather than pat themselves on the back, our elected politicians should be striving to sort out a problem affecting so many – they spent weeks pressing through legislation affecting a very tiny minority of the population!
