The National has today launched a fundraiser with Medical Aid for Palestinians and has so far raised well over £15,000 and you can donate by clicking on the banner below.

The latest protests fall after International Women's Day, with organisers calling on demonstrators to "stand in solidarity with Palestinian women".

Protesters could be seen holding signs such as: "Gaza is a war on women" and "Israel kills two mothers every hour".

More than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed since October while more than 70,000 have been injured.

Medical Aid for Palestinians is one of the only organisations providing aid on the ground in Gaza right now.
