Celtic continue their preparations for the new season this evening as they take on Sporting Lisbon in a pre-season friendly.
Martin O'Neill's side are in Portugal for a warm weather training camp and will take on the Portuguese side in a bounce game on Tuesday night as part of their work abroad.
Celtic have played one match in pre-season so far, a 1-1 draw against Shelbourne last week. Shin Yamada scored a late penalty to claim a draw in the summer runout in Ireland.
Now, though, Celtic will step up their preparations against Sporting Lisbon in the heat at Estadio Algarve.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is back with the squad after his delayed return to training following his new contract with the club, while Celtic have signed Camilo Duran.
However, Duran is a doubt to feature in the friendly after missing training due to illness on Monday.
O'Neill explained: He said: “He didn’t train today because he was ill. So we’ll see how he is.”
