Wilfried Nancy is set to remain in his role as the Celtic manager, contrary to recent reports.
The 48-year-old, who signed a two-and-a-half year deal just a fortnight ago, has lost all four of his matches in charge, including defeats to Hearts, Roma, St Mirren, and Dundee United.
We understand that the club's hierarchy are choosing to back their manager, despite the club's recent run of form under the Frenchman.
Following his side's 2-1 defeat to Dundee United at Tannadice on Wednesday night, Nancy insisted that he was still the right man for the job. "Yes (I can turn it around)," he said.
"I can see everyday improvements. And I think that today, we did a good game again, but in terms of results, it was not enough. And we all want to win, the players, myself and so on. But in terms of results, obviously, I can understand why the fans are upset."

On hearing a section of the fans calling for his dismissal, Nancy added, "Obviously, this is difficult to hear that. But I can understand their frustration, too. It's new for me to have four losses in a row. This is also new for the players.
"This is something that we don't want. But I can understand their upset. But the only thing that I can tell them is that tonight we had a good performance.
"And we are missing the goals that could have been good for us. And we're still working on that to win the next game."
Prior to his move to Celtic, the Frenchman was in charge of MLS side Columbus Crew, with whom he won the MLS Cup and the Leagues Cup.
Before this, he was in charge of fellow MLS club CF Montreal, where he won the Canadian Championship in 2021.
