Rangers and Celtic served up a classic for the Old Firm derby history books this afternoon.

It's as you were at the top of the Premiership after Philippe Clement and Brendan Rodgers' sides played out an enthralling 3-3 draw.

Celtic looked to be well on top, but the hosts staged a superb second-half comeback.

The visitors then took a late lead, with Adam Idah scoring Celtic's third of the match.

Rabbi Matondo had other ideas though, as the Wales international struck a beautiful curling effort beyond Joe Hart deep into stoppage time at Ibrox.

Jordan Jones once played in an Old Firm game, although he'd probably rather forget about that memory given the winger was sent off for a poor challenge on Moritz Bauer in 2019.

Now, plying his trade in League One for Wigan Athletic, the former Kilmarnock and St Mirren winger joined the Rangers fans in the stands for this one, as he hailed his former club for their part in the game.

He simply wrote on his Instagram story: "What a game," as he accompanied his caption with Union Jack and clapping emojis, as well as a photo of his view from the Broomloan Stand.

Jones has made no secret of his background as a Rangers fan growing up, as he made his dream move to Ibrox following some outstanding performances at Rugby Park under Steve Clarke.

He infamously signed off a social media post with 'WATP' having just signed a pre-contract with Steven Gerrard's side, despite still being a Killie employee.

However, a few years on, this was water under the bridge as Derek McInnes reunited the Northern Ireland international with the Ayrshire natives in the summer of 2022 after their promotion from the Championship.

Jones has been in fine form for Shaun Maloney's side so far this season, scoring twice and producing six assists in his 26 appearances.
