Chris Sutton has taken a parting shot at former Rangers manager Michael Beale by branding him the "great messiah".
The Celtic hero was previously involved in a war of words with Beale while he was in charge at Ibrox.
Beale had labelled Sutton a "comedy act" and named the pundit as the "worst ever player to play for Chelsea".
Sutton shrugged off the criticism as he blasted the remarks. However, he couldn't resist a parting shot at Beale when discussing new Rangers boss Philippe Clement.
On BBC Radio 5 Live, Sutton said: "Clement has won things in Belgium, unlike the 'great messiah' Michael Beale. We'll be fair to the new boss and give him 45 minutes....
"His track record is a big thing, he's won 3 titles in Belgium then did OK at Monaco. Now if he comes in, talks basic football sense, then it's about the way he coaches.

"He's got to hit the ground running, Celtic haven't been at their best and will get there but there's 30 games left and they play Celtic three times.
"The biggest issue he has is the players Rangers recruited haven't shown up. He's got to get the most out of them."
And Sutton wasn't finished with his taunting of former Ibrox boss Beale as he cited his comments on Ange Postecoglou being "lucky" at Celtic.
Asked whether new Ibrox manager Clement should avoid listening to 'people like you [Sutton]' by host Mark Chapman, the ex-Celtic striker added: "Not necessarily, I just wouldn't be calling the Celtic manager lucky, for example."
