Celtic could be without Reo Hatate for the next month, according to a report.
The Japanese midfielder suffered what appeared to be a calf strain at Pittodrie on Sunday.
He was used as a second-half substitute in the Hoops' 3-1 win over Aberdeen, replacing David Turnbull at the break.
However, he failed to last the distance of the game after pulling up with an injury issue.
And the Daily Mail reports that the 25-year-old has sustained a grade two calf tear.
Their report states that he faces four weeks on the sidelines.
As a result, this puts the midfield ace's involvement in the upcoming derby against Rangers into doubt. The Glasgow giants will face off on September 3 at Ibrox.
Hatate has been linked with an exit from Parkhead this month, with Brighton said to be interested.
He's been a key player since his arrival under Ange Postecoglou in January 2022.

There is no update at this time on the state of play with regards to Hatate's teammate Cameron Carter-Vickers.
He too was subbed off during the win over the Dons. He made way at half-time for Stephen Welsh, with Brendan Rodgers revealing after the match that the America international had felt his hamstring.
His withdrawal from the game was a precautionary measure according to Rodgers.
Meanwhile, Jota is on high alert after his Al-Ittihad boss Nuno Espirito Santo revealed that the club could be set to loan out a number of their foreign players.
