FORMER Celtic recruitment guru John Park has reportedly been appointed in a senior scouting role at Rangers.

Park, 64, spent almost ten-years in Glasgow previously between 2007 and 2016.

The scout was creditted with many of Celtic's successful signings including Victor Wanyama, Virgil van Dijk, Fraser Forster and Moussa Dembele.

He most recently worked at Blackburn Rovers.

However, according to The Athletic, Park has joined Rangers and has even started his job.

The report states that Rangers' current head of recruitment, Andy Scoulding, is heading to Tottenham. Park is not believed to be a direct replacement.

Park left Celtic to join Sunderland shortly after Brendan Rodgers' arrival at Parkhead.

Ross Wilson is said to have a long-term relationship with Park from his early days in the industry.
