ALFREDO MORELOS has been named as the cinch Premiership's player of the month for December.
The Rangers striker was on fire at the end of 2021, as the Colombian scored four goals in five games.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men won all of those matches, as they maintained their place at the summit of the top flight.
The fans' favourite kicked off the month by showing superb determination to net against Dundee, bustling through two defenders to net in the 3-0 win.
He then opened the scoring eight days later at Tynecastle as Gers secured a win over Hearts.
Morelos then got the breakthrough goal against St Johnstone before rounding off his month with the clincher in the Boxing Day win over St Mirren.

van Bronckhorst heaped praise on the frontman.
He said: "He has done well since I came in and he has scored some important goals that have been important for the team.
"He is working hard and his attitude has been really good, and he has been a positive factor for the team."
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
