Rangers defender Borna Barisic was emotional as his side defeated Celtic in the Scottish Premiership today.

And former Ibrox striker Kris Boyd reckons the Croatian may have played his final game for the club.

Barisic was in tears upon the full time whistle as he applauded the home support and Boyd commented saying: "There's two minutes left of the transfer window. If he's waving his goodbyes or saying cheerio to the Rangers fans... listen he's been a great servant.

"When they were knocked out of the Champions League, all the stories were that someone will have to go.

"If it is Borna Barisic, I think he's served himself well in a Rangers jersey.

"But what I will say to him is, he will not play for another club like Rangers. But good luck to him."

Rangers took all three points in today's match thanks to a second half goal from Filip Helander.

Celtic had chances to equalise Kyogo Furuhashi, but ultimately Ange Postecoglou's side could not find the back of the net.
