SCOTT BAIN believes a lack of fans has harmed Celtic’s title chances this season, and contributed to their poor run of form.

The goalkeeper has been reinstated as No.1 at the club following Vasilias Barkas’ poor run of form.

And speaking to Sky Sports before Celtic’s clash with Kilmarnock tonight, Bain opened up on why his side have struggled to emulate their form from recent years this season.

When asked why his side were struggling so dramatically compared to recent years he said: “I think that it could be a number of factors. I feel sometimes in games we have missed the fans in terms of last 10-15 minutes of games.

“I think they’re so important and everyone had realised that this season.

“When you do need that extra 10 or 15% in a game they can be that changing factor."
