Celtic fans have condemned the few hundred supporters who 'embarrassed' the club with their clashes outside Parkhead during the 'Lennon out' protests after Sunday's defeat to Ross County.
Two police officers were injured during the chaotic scenes outside Celtic Park when some fans launched missiles, kicked in metal fences and clashed with cops while chanting 'Lennon, get to f***' after the loss. Pundits and former players alike have criticised the section of support for their antics, but now other supporters have also told of the shame they've been left feeling watching the scenes.
One said: "Celtic fans arsing about outside CP tonight is embarrassing. P**** with fa else to do, thinking they are playing a part in the downfall of NL. You're not! Go back home. All you're doing is bringing down the good reputation of the decent fans".
Another added: "I’m a Celtic fan and I think lennon’s time is up but the videos I have seen from Celtic park tonight are embarrassing." One wrote on social media: " Very embarrassing for the club. The Police deserve to be treated with respect. They have more important to focus on."
A fourth added: "Lennon has to go but there is a way of doing things. The chants, the abuse and intimidation is a disgrace. We never behaved like that during the 90's. Bloody self entitited young team again."
Chris Sutton blasted the 'self-entitled arses' outside Parkhead while Kris Commons claimed they are the same type who would have daubed graffiti outside Kieran Tierney's home after he left for Arsenal. Ally McCoist and Andy Walker also hit out at the fans for their antics.
