RANGERS pair George Edmundson and Jordan Jones have each been handed seven-match bans after breaching lockdown restrictions.

The Scottish FA charged the two players earlier this month after they attended a house party, with the Ibrox club announing that the duo would be suspended while they carry out an internal investigation.

Edmundson and Jones have both been found guilty of breaching disciplinary rules 24 (failure to comply with the SFA Articles of Association) and 77 (not acting in the best interests of association football).

The two players have been hit with seven-game suspensions as a result, meaning they will play no part in the upcoming games against Aberdeen, Falkirk, Ross County, Dundee United, Motherwell, St Johnstone or Hibernian.
