RYAN JACK insists there is 'no problem' between Rangers and Standard Liege players after a melee marred the end of their Europa League clash.
Steven Gerrard's side were 2-0 winners in the Group D opener as James Tavernier netted from the penalty spot and Kemar Roofe scored a stunning strike from his own half in the closing stages.
The moment of magic from Roofe was the highlight of an entertaining encounter in terrible conditions as he won the ball midway inside Rangers territory and then beat keeper Arnaud Bodart with a wonderful chip from more than 50 yards.
The former Anderlecht striker made an 'A' gesture in celebration and that appeared to upset the Liege players and backroom staff as both teams clashed at the final whistle.
Victory over Standard was the first group stage win Rangers have recorded on the road under Gerrard's guidance and midfielder Jack admits it was a passionate finale to the Group D clash.
He said: "It was a tough match, it was no easy match. I think we had to work extra hard to get the victory and the way that we set up we like the ball to be on the outside.
"First half we let in too many crosses and they hit the crossbar and had a few edgy moments. Apart from that, I thought we defended excellently and deserved our win.
"Kemar scores a great goal, probably one of the best goals I have ever seen in my life that I have played in. Credit to Kemar, he has been outstanding since he has come to the club. At the end, there is a bit of passion on the field and it is good to see supporters back in.
"Kemar was getting a bit of a hard time and he has celebrated his goal. They show some passion at the end and so do we. It is no problem."
