ABERDEEN midfielder Ross McCrorie has been given his first call-up to the senior men's national team for Scotland's upcoming Nations League fixtures.
The 22-year-old moved to Pittodrie from Ibrox this summer in a deal that sees the midfielder initially join on loan before the move will be made permanent next summer.
The former Rangers player has been a standout performer for Derek McInnes' side since sealing his switch and while the versatile midfielder will take the captain's armband for tomorrow night's Under-21s game against the Czech Republic, McCrorie will be included in the senior set-up for next week's fixtures against Slovakia and the Czechs.
It is the first time McCrorie has been given a call-up to the senior squad and there he will join up with his brother Robby, the Rangers goalkeeper currently on loan at Livingston.
