CELTIC may be intimidated by playing in front of a small number of Ross County fans at the weekend, says manager Stuart Kettlewell.

Earlier it was announced 300 Ross County fans will be in attendance for the game on Septempber 12, which will act as a pilot for the reintroduction of fans to football, although there is no further dates of fan attended stadia events yet.

And Kettlewell believes his side could use the novelty crowd to their advantage.

He joked: “Celtic will be intimidated by it if there is a couple hundred fans.

“In all seriousness we do have to try and make it at home an advantage.

“We played at preseason in an empty stadium (at Celtic Park) and it was still an intimidating place to go.”

Speaking before the game was confirmed the County boss said: “I think we’d be delighted even if it’s small numbers just to see some of our supporters back into the ground.

“A lot of the local people are desperate to get back in.

“If that could be this weekend I’d be delighted.”
