HUMZA YOUSAF has slammed Boli Bolingoli after it was revealed last night that the Celtic defender travelled to Spain just hours ahead of Sunday's Kilmarnock clash.

The Belgian full-back failed to isolate on his return and didn't tell Parkhead bosses about his secret trip and now the Scottish Premiership season hangs in the balance ahead of Nicola Sturgeon's daily briefing later today.

SNP Justice Secretary, Humza Yousaf, has told how the government has been left with little choice but to consider pausing the football season.

On Twitter, he wrote: "Utterly unacceptable from Bolingoli.

"With a number of incidents, Scot Govt left with little choice but to consider whether pause is now needed in resumption of the game.

"Operational matter for Border Force & Police Scot, I support whatever enforcement action they deem necessary."
