RANGERS ace Andy Halliday has sent a touching message of support to the Ibrox faithful during the coronavirus crisis.
The Light Blues utility man is currently at home in isolation along with his teammates and management staff, with Scottish football in lockdown.
It remains to be seen when the beautiful game will return, but Halliday insists the health and wellbeing of everyone is his number one focus right now.
Speaking on the official Rangers Twitter page, he said: "I’d just like to send my love and support to the Rangers fans all over the world. It’s an extremely difficult time that we’re living in right now but I urge everyone to follow the government guidelines as best we can in terms of social distancing and self-isolation.
"The stricter we are, the quicker we can all beat this virus together and the quicker we can get back to playing and watching football, which I’m sure you’re all missing as much as I am.
"Unfortunately right now we’ve got a more important issue on our hands so I just urge everyone to look after their friends and family because we’ve got a bit of a battle on our hands but I’m sure we’ll get through it all together.
"My last tribute is to the NHS and health workers such as the doctors, nurses and ambulance drivers. Their bravery and courage on a daily basis to fight this virus is so commendable and extremely selfless so on behalf of not just Rangers but everyone in the country, we salute them in the job they are doing."
