FRASER FORSTER: Should have been much stronger when losing the ball under the challenge of Jon Guthrie for the defender to turn home Livi’s equaliser. 5
NIR BITTON: Carried the ball out well from the back and showed composure, coming close with a couple of efforts too. Best of the back three. 7
CHRIS JULLIEN: Given a torrid time here last time by Lyndon Dykes, and he failed to handle the forward once more as he brushed him off to set up Livi’s second. Was spooked thereafter and presented forward with another golden chance. All over the place by the end. 5
KRIS AJER: Passed fit after recovering from a thigh injury and looked to be moving freely. Like Bitton, carried ball forward well, but not entirely comfortable at the back. 6
JAMES FORREST: Seems to be finding himself cutting inside more often than not of late, and it was the same story here as he struggled to influence the game from his wing-back role. 5
GREG TAYLOR: Good battle down the left with Lawson. Got his head up well to pick out McGregor for the opening goal, but crossing let him down as game wore on. Replaced by Frimpong. 6
SCOTT BROWN: Got stuck in in the midfield battle, but was a little sloppy on the ball at times and found himself robbed on occasion. 6
CALLUM MCGREGOR: Hit a stunning opener by chopping back inside and unleashing a shot from 20 yards high past McCrorie. Constant catalyst as Celtic scrapped to find a way back into game. 7
MOHAMED ELYOUNOUSSI: Deployed in a central position and did ok without really influencing the game too much. Replaced by Rogic. 6
RYAN CHRISTIE: Got up in support of Edouard and not afraid to do the dirty work the other way. Better than his last visit here when he was red-carded, but faded as game went on. 6
ODSONNE EDOUARD: Striker was taking a little too long on the ball early on, but always a threat and smacked inside of post in first half. Passed up another decent chance after break, but then came up with fine driving run to create equaliser. 7
SUBSTITUTES
JEREMIE FRIMPONG: Almost had instant impact as he immediately brought direct running to attack. Gave a spark. 6
TOM ROGIC: Made the all-important impact off the bench to drag Celtic level late on. 7
LEIGH GRIFFITHS: Got last 15 minutes or so and will perhaps feel he should have had longer to make an impact. 4
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
