PARTICK Thistle have wrapped up the double signing of frontmen Miles Storey and Conor Sammon.

Jags boss Alan Archibald has paid an undisclosed fee to land Storey from Aberdeen on a two-year deal.

Out-of-favour Hearts hitman Sammon, meanwhile, has checked into Firhill after agreeing a season-long loan switch from Tynecastle.

Both featured in Archibald’s squad for Thistle’s Premiership clash with Celtic last night.

The Thistle manager has been looking for extra firepower, having largely relied on Kris Doolan for goals in recent seasons.

Archibald said: “We’ve been working hard to get a couple of attacking options over the line so I’m delighted to get both Conor and Miles signed.

“This gives us four excellent and very different attacking options, which is a great position to be in. Both players bring good experience and are both fit and should be able to hit the ground running.”
