THIS week saw Holyrood and Westminster get back to business. We first had PMQ on Wednesday and then FMQ on Thursday. A rare occurrence at PMQs was the attendance of the Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross MP and MSP in the House of Commons. He got the opportunity to put a question to the PM, but avoided questioning his on the NHS crisis in the UK.

On Thursday, Mr Ross had the opportunity to question the First Minister at FMQs. He attacked the Scottish Government’s performance on the NHS. The NHS is under pressure all over the UK and the Conservatives in Scotland have called for the Scottish Health Secretary Humza Yousaf to be removed from post.

So would it not have been reasonable for Mr Ross to have taken the opportunity to question the PM on the performance of the NHS in other parts of the UK, and question the suitability of the English Health Secretary remaining in post?
