I HAVE learned over the past weekend that an independent group, the Resolution Foundation, has estimated that the recent disastrous, “mini-Budget” (remember, that was the one that was initially supported by almost all Tory MPs!) cost the country approximately £30 billion.

When you add on to that on to the now-ignored £37bn that was lost in Boris Johnson’s “world-beating" (and totally ineffective) Test & Trace system, it comes to a staggering £67bn. Even ignoring the many millions of pounds lost to landfill through the purchase of ineffective PPE equipment, you will see that our current financial “black hole” is almost entirely the making of Tory sleaze and incompetence. But of course we will all pay for it!

I wonder if this will be writ large on this side of their election bus?
