DOUGLAS Ross last week showed that he was man enough to state he had erred in not declaring his MSP salary and fees from footy, unlike some of his party colleagues in Westminster. He “fessed up” to making a bourach of his expenses, for 2020/2021, to the value of £32,000, which is nearly double the national minimum wage.

He stated clearly that it was an error on his part alone and should not have happened.

I understand it was The Herald going public which forced him to divulge his error, and rightly so.

However, this week in a further video clip on social media he is now stating that the reason for his omission was that he thought that as these earnings were being donated to local Moray charities he therefore did not need to declare them in his expenses to Westminster.

It seems that Douglas Ross has been infected by the Westminster disease.
