NICOLA Sturgeon is now fully vaccinated against Covid-19 – and is urging Scots to roll up their sleeves.
The First Minister got her second jag at the NHS Louisa Jordan in Glasgow this morning.
It comes as the Scottish Government ramps up its vaccine programme to tackle the highly transmissible Delta variant, which was first detected in India.
Sturgeon tweeted: “Double vaccinated!”
“Thank you @NHSLouisaJordan.
“Please roll up your sleeve for both doses as soon as you are invited for appointment – every single one of us who gets fully vaccinated is a step back to normality for all of us.”

The NHS Louisa Jordan, in the SSE Hydro, was originally converted into an emergency treatment centre during the height of the first wave in case hospitals overflowed.
The entertainment venue is now being used to vaccinate thousands of people a day.
Sturgeon became one of more than two million Scots to have two doses.

The SNP leader had her first dose of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine at the same vaccination centre on April 15.
She announced over the weekend that the Government is aiming to fully vaccinate every adult in the country by mid-September.
Speaking at her coronavirus briefing, she added: “The caveat I’ve got to put in there is that is dependent on us having the supply to do that – but we are wanting to give second doses eight weeks after first doses.”
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
