DOUGLAS Ross has fired back at an SNP minister who poked fun at him over a photo with David Beckham at Wembley.
The Scottish Tory leader got a snap with the former Real Madrid star during Scotland's Euro 2020 match with England.
Kevin Stewart, Holyrood’s Mental Wellbeing and Social Care Minister, contrasted that picture with one of another Scottish MP at the game.
SNP colleague Stephen Flynn posed outside the stadium donning a Scotland top and kilt.
Sharing both images, Stewart tweeted: “MPs at the fitba – can you spot the difference?”
Ross, who is thought to have met Beckham in the hospitality section, snapped back at the SNP minister.
He replied: “Does the same apply to your fellow SNP Minister who was a couple of seats along from me?
“What a sad individual you are. Grow up.”

Flynn, MP for Aberdeen South, quipped: “Kevin Stewart wishes he looked that class.”
Scotland won praise for their performance at Wembley, securing a point which keeps their hopes of qualifying for the knock-outs alive.
Sharing a video from inside the stadium, Ross said: "What a performance.
"Passion and determination from each and every one player. And the Tartan Army roared them on throughout. Well done Scotland".
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon also celebrated the result.
She posted online: "What a proud and gutsy performance #SCO - well done!
"We leave Wembley undefeated…and now it’s game on for Croatia at Hampden #EURO2020"

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
