I KNOW very few people can put up a Saltire up in their back garden but I wish more and more would fly the Saltire or the Lion Rampant where possible. Why should we not? It’s our flag, and surely we can show the pride we have in our country?

Even if you don’t have a back door, surely some arrangements can be made to fly it from a window?

When I holidayed in the States they all took great pride in flying their country’s flag on their driveway. Even down south many have a Union flag or St George’s Cross flying.

Come of Scotland, let’s get our flags flying high and proud.

While I am on my high horse, I think it should be compulsory for players picked to represent their country at any sport to be blaring out and singing the anthem with pride.
