WESTMINSTER is often called the Mother of all Parliaments and claims to be democratic and a clear representation of the people.

So where does the sentiment of Conservative MP David Davis come from as he reveals that the departure of Dominic Cummings presents an opportunity for his colleagues to form “a new relationship with openness and interaction with parliament”, even giving the Cabinet more of a say!

Is this an admission that the Westminster government are not in control and that government ministers are being paid for positions they are not fulfilling? Quite outrageous and yet again more evidence, it that were needed, of why Scotland needs to run her own affairs with urgency.
