THE LibDems in England aim to drop their commitment to the EU at virtual conference. Will Willie Rennie’s wee band follow suit after Scotland voted to remain? Or will they just fall into line if the motion goes through?

The fissures hitting the Unionists are increasing. The UK is slowly coming apart. The so-called Unionist parties are actually English in all but in name.

The response is likely to be “Yes, but ... we are all British, aka English!”
