THE visible signs of government incompetence and detachment from reality and common sense show no bounds.
As we know, they told the UK to be prepared to voluntarily self-isolate for up to 14 days. So what did they expect people to do? Most people have gone out and bought supplies to last them for an extended period as instructed!
I recall back in the mid-70s during the three-day week that before they imposed anything they actually issued people with fuel ration documents. A good example of foresight and planning, unlike our current self-obsessed fools that we are stuck with for the next five years – unless we can escape.

BOJO must be pinching himself that he gets to play Churchill and have the Brexit shambles relegated to a poor second behind “where can I buy toilet paper?”

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
