Dr Michael Mosley’s popular Radio 4 podcast series Just One Thing is being turned into a TV series which he has described as being “surprisingly challenging”.
In the TV series, Michael will travel across the UK to find the simplest and most surprising ways audiences can improve their health and wellbeing.
The podcast will be turned into 10 x 30 episodes and each one will focus on one simple tip that could inform health transformations with scientifically proven benefits to get audiences to make changes to their everyday lives.
From dancing in the kitchen to eating beetroot, there are a variety of tips to be shared by Michael.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Michael said filming for the show had begun, saying: “I’ve just begun filming a new series for BBC Two based on my popular podcast series Just One Thing. It is surprisingly challenging going from a radio format into a TV one, but so far it’s looking good…”
While sharing his simple tips, viewers will see him visit locations across the UK, including the Lake District, Edinburgh, Cambridgeshire, East Anglia, Staffordshire, Blackpool, Glasgow and North Wales with each location having a surprising connection to the tip in each episode.
He will be encouraging residents to try something new for their health and to become more connected with their area and the health benefits it has to offer.
Who is Dr Michael Mosley?
Discussing the new series, Michael Mosley said: “I am delighted that my popular podcast series is being made into a television series; the idea behind the series is that we show people that making a few simple changes can lead to big improvements in their mental and physical well being.
“For the series I’ll be travelling across the UK to unearth lots of simple tips to help people change their lives for the better.”

The TV series will air later this year on BBC Two and iPlayer but you can listen to the podcast now as it continues on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds.
