THOMAS Kerr has failed to win a constituency seat in the Scottish Parliament as the SNP hold Glasgow Baillieston and Shettleston.
The Reform UK Glasgow councillor, who is widely seen as the right-hand man of the party's Scottish leader Malcolm Offord, came second behind the SNP's David Linden.
He received just 6972 votes – which is more votes than Offord received in Inverclyde – but fell dramatically short of Linden's 12,075 votes.
Meanwhile, Labour's Pauline McNeill came in third with 5885 votes, followed by Amy Carman for the LibDems on 1082 and John Murray on 1006 votes for the Conservatives.
Turnout for the Glasgow Baillieston and Shettleston seat was 47%, 8% down from the last Scottish Parliament election in 2021.

However, Kerr was elected as an MSP for the Glasgow region, appearing at the top of the list for Reform UK.
He previously boasted that his party would "send shockwaves across the political establishment" at the elections.
Arriving at the count on Friday, he told journalists there was going to be a "big, big shock".
At the time of writing, Reform UK have won zero constituency seats.
