GLASWEGIANS have been given the chance to spot local streets in the newest clips released from the brand-new Spider-Man film.
Short trailer clips from the film Brand New Day have been unveiled by Marvel, giving fans an early peek at Tom Holland’s fourth outing as the masked hero.
This instalment boasts several gripping sequences, including an explosive tank chase scene in the heart of Scotland’s largest city.
Bothwell Street made a surprising cameo as New York, as the production company opted to shoot in Glasgow.
In the thrilling scene, Spider-Man is seen dodging treacherous fire from an armoured vehicle mid-air.

The intense exchange provides a striking view of the Aurora office building, further amplifying the thrill when a blast shakes the busy street.
All this action resulted from a temporary lockdown of Glasgow's city centre last year, which saw hundreds of Spider-Man fans flock to catch a glimpse of the blockbuster being made.
The dedicated fans were privy to many breathtaking stunts, from a nail-biting police chase sequence to the hero's iconic swings, all performed right in front of their eyes.

The NYPD police cars in hot pursuit of the speeding tank, resulting in one of them being rammed and sent tumbling down the street, left many awestruck.
Among the most exciting moments for fans was when Tom Holland, taking a brief hiatus from filming duties, stopped to interact with the crowd.
The Spidey stunt double was also a spectacle to behold, strapped to a large frame, executing the character's legendary swings in the film.

A lucky few even had the chance to meet the actor, creating an unforgettable memory.
Bothwell Street transformed into downtown Manhattan, recreating a slice of the Big Apple in the heart of Glasgow.
Authentic American-style features, from yellow taxis to ambulances and buses, littered the street.
Street signs were changed, alongside props like newspapers and hot dog stands, offering a temporary, dreamy New York experience to the Glasgow residents.
This latest Spider-Man movie isn’t the only high-profile film venture to find potential in Glasgow’s landscape.
Hollywood star Glen Powell also frequented the city for his blockbuster films.
He was spotted filming in Glasgow twice last year, filming scenes for the much-anticipated Running Man remake and JJ Abrams’ GhostWriter.
This isn’t the first time Glasgow has been transformed into New York, either.
The Merchant City was previously styled as a version of New York during the 1960s for a parade chase scene in the action-packed Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
Glasgow further flexed its muscles in the film industry when it was transformed into crime-riddled Gotham City for Robert Pattinson’s Batman flick and the ill-fated Batgirl blockbuster.
The Batgirl film will not be released in cinemas after the American production studio Warner Bros decided to scrap it.
