Matt Goodwin heckled after blaming Muslims for by-election defeat

Mr Goodwin looks despairingly anywhere else than the camera pushed into his face.

"Proud patriot not able to win a British seat – bit embarrassing, Mr Goodwin, wouldn’t you say?"

The GB News presenter continues to attempt to dodge eye-contact of any kind with the reporters circling him following his humiliating by-election result in Gorton and Denton. Goodwin replies with a distinct lack of heart convincing no one: "Not at all".

"Well, you’ve lost to the Greens, sir. You’ve lost to the woke Greens, you can’t beat the Greens. What a joke." the person filming points out.

Goodwin, seen getting his bag and heading for the door alone, does not look back as the person carries on heckling: "A proud patriot who can’t win a British seat – my goodness, to the Greens of all people.

"You’re going to moan about it on GB News? You’re going to moan about it on GB News, how much of a loser you are? A loser to the Greens, my goodness.

"It’s bad form, isn’t it, to just lash out at the winners. Not very sportsmanlike behaviour, would you say, Mr Goodwin? How does it feel to be a loser, Mr Goodwin? Mr Goodwin’s a loser.

"Are you going to rally about it on your show, GB News, losing to the Greens? Loser to the Greens. Goodness, the Greens of all parties, the woke Greens. What a proud patriot you must be."

The Reform UK losing candidate had just told the press: “I think the progressives were told how to vote, and I think what you saw was a coalition of Islamists and woke progressives that came together to dominate a constituency.

"And many people in this country will look at Gorton and Denton and be appalled by what they see.”

Turns out the real "coalition of Islamists and woke progressives" was just voters who have had enough of sore losers.
