Two youths have been charged in connection with an incident close to a Glasgow school.
A video circulating on social media shows one boy being attacked by two others.
The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon after the end of the school day.
Police confirmed two youths have been charged.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two male youths have been charged in connection with an assault and a robbery which took place on Copland Road at Paisley Road West, Glasgow, around 4pm on Tuesday, 24 February, 2026.
“A report will be forwarded to the relevant authorities."
Sources have said the school has been inundated with phone calls and e-mails, including threats, since the video was posted online by far-right activists, with people suggesting the incident was racially motivated.
A Glasgow City Council spokesperson said: “We are aware that youths have been charged in connection with an assault, so it would not be appropriate to comment on a specific incident.
“The school is working with the police and took swift action as soon as the allegations were made.
“We are aware of a video being shared online and we condemn violence of any form.
“However, we would like to make it clear that spreading disinformation about a complex situation without the correct facts is dangerous and unhelpful and we would urge the local community to let the authorities do their jobs.”
Sources indicated it is understood the incident is not race-related but an escalation of a verbal exchange.
