A FLIGHT bound for Scotland was forced to divert following a medical emergency.
EasyJet flight EZY3114 from Tenerife to Glasgow was flying through Irish airspace when it declared an emergency onboard.
The emergency was due to a passenger requiring urgent medical attention.
The plane landed at Dublin, where medical teams were waiting on the tarmac to assist the affected passenger.
The plane then continued on its journey to Glasgow Airport.

An easyJet spokesperson told STV News: “Flight EZY3114 from Tenerife to Glasgow on November 22 diverted to Dublin due to a customer requiring urgent medical attention.
“The customer was met by medical services on arrival and the flight continued to Glasgow. The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is always easyJet’s highest priority.”
