A FORMER Aberdeenshire golf course just miles away from Donald Trump’s golf business has been put on the market.

The ex-East Aberdeenshire Golf Glub at Millden, which is located near Balmedie, has approximately 62 acres of land and could be yours for £500,000.

Situated close to both the A90 and Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR), it is also just three miles from Trump International Scotland.

Formerly an 18-hole parkland course, it also had a 9-hole facility and a practice area.

Aberdeen and Northern Estates have described it as being a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” as the land has “exceptional development potential”.

The US president is planning to open a second golf course in Aberdeenshire next year with the 18-hole MacLeod Course – named after his mother – to be completed at the property in Menie from summer 2025.

It has previously attracted controversy with the dunes at Menie having lost their status as a nationally-important protected environment.
