AN airline has re-launched its flight route between Edinburgh and a popular tourist destination for this year.

Emirates has announced the re-introduction of its Edinburgh to Dubai flight route which will start on November 4.

The airline will offer 14 flights a week helping to make Dubai more accessible for Scottish holidaymakers.

Flights will depart Edinburgh at 8:40pm and will arrive in Dubai at 8:05am meaning that holiday goers can get their trip started as soon as they land.

Dubai, a city in the United Arab Emirates, is a popular tourist destination with its ultramodern architecture and golden sand.

The Burj Khalifa skyscraper is just one of the several tourist attractions holidaymakers flock to go see as it is the tallest tower in the world, standing at an impressive 828 metres tall

Dubai has also been named Tripadvisor's number one most popular destination in the world for the second year running.
