ALL Under One Banner (AUOB) has announced the details for its next march for Scottish independence following the weekend’s rally in Glasgow.

The rally on Saturday marched from Kelvingrove Park to Glasgow Green in a show of support for both for Scottish independence and Palestine.

In a new post on Twitter/X, AUOB has confirmed its next march will take place on June 22, where people will walk from Old Stirling Bridge to Bannockburn Field.

The National:

The post read: “March for Independence – Bannockburn. Saturday June 22 2024. Old Stirling Bridge to Bannockburn Field.

“Gather early, leave 11am sharp. Make sure to attend the national demonstration for self-determination.”

The National:

SNP MP Alison Thewliss (above) was among those to speak at Saturday’s rally, saying the only way to gather support for independence is by “having those important conversations,” whether it be with friends or “people at the bus stop”.

The post from AUOB added: “Since 2014 support for independence has largely split Scotland down the middle.

“But whether you are for or against it, there ought to be the agreement that this is a choice for the people.

“Scotland’s future should not be determined by any UK Govt, nor any other foreign power.”

It continued: “Now is the time to generate and vitalise the independence movement. We look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s annual Bannockburn march, which takes place Saturday, June 22.”
