A man has been arrested after three police officers were allegedly assaulted during an incident in Largs.
Police were called to the town's Royal Avenue on March 18.
An individual has been charged in connection to the incident involving an alleged assault, making threats, and resisting arrest.
The matter was contained with the monthly crime round-up to Largs Community Council, which held its meeting last night (April 18).
Seregent Donald Fisher, of Largs Police, said: "It says in the crime report 'assault x 3' as that is because it took three police officers to restrain the person as he was kicking out, so there is account of each charge against a police officer, so that is how that comes about."
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal in relation to the incident.
