A CIRCUS currently taking place at Glasgow Fort has apologised following a major photoshop blunder.

The Big Kid Circus has said sorry to anyone "who may have taken offence" to its drone shoot of the circus tent at the shopping centre recently.

It comes after social media users shared a picture which is understood to be one of the event's promotions.

In the image, it appears Easterhouse was photoshopped over and turned into a loch with mountains in the background.

Taking to Twitter/X, one social media user said: "There's a circus at Glasgow Fort and in their promotional photos they have photoshopped a big loch and mountains into the background where Easterhouse is."

Following the row, the Big Kid Circus removed the image and shared an apology.

The entertainment provider said its intention of the image was to "outline" the circus at the centre.

In the social media post, the Big Kid Circus said: "We would like to apologise to anyone who may have taken offence to our drone photo of the circus tent at Glasgow Fort.

"Our intentions for the image were to outline the circus tent at the shopping centre.

"We are grateful to the local community for welcoming the Big Kid Circus in your area and we hope we can provide local families with some fun circus entertainment."

A spokesperson for the Big Kid Circus added: "We never intended to offend anyone, we just wanted to outline the beautiful view with our tent in the shopping centre area.

"We came to Glasgow Fort to be able to give a good live family entertainment."
