Glasgow City council has issued advice to the public after a body was discovered in one of their recycling centres.
The local authority is warning residents that Queenslie Recycling Centre in Easterhouse will be closed while Police Scotland carry out their investigation.
The centre opened as normal today at 8am before quickly closing as police were called before 9am.
It has since been confirmed that a body was discovered at the site and no further details have been issued by the force.

Forensic officers remain at the scene while cops patrol the yard as they investigate the find.
A spokesperson for Glasgow City Council said: “Due to a police incident, our Queenslie household waste recycling centre is currently closed to public.
“Residents hoping to dispose of their household waste are asked to use an alternative waste centre while this incident is on-going.
“We will update our social media when it is appropriate to re-open the waste centre.
“As this is a police incident, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.”
