A BODY has been found in a car in Glasgow after a search for a missing woman.
Police said that the body had been formally identified as Angela Keenan, who was reported missing on April 2.
The 58-year-old from Lenzie had been believed to be driving a black Kia Venga.
On Friday, police said they were looking into a sighting of the vehicle heading northwards on Industry Street in Kirkintilloch on the same day she went missing.
On Monday, officers announced that her body had been found in a car in the Parkhead area of Glasgow at around 3:20pm on Sunday, April 7.
Police said there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances in the incident, but added that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
