A FLOCK of sheep has been spotted on the loose in a Scottish town.

The farm animals were seen grazing at a grassy area near Jupiter Terrace in the Braeside area of Greenock on Friday.

Footage shows upwards of a dozen sheep making their way along grass verges on Flatterton Road, before heading along a pedestrian path leading to Inverkip Road.

A spokesperson for Inverclyde Council said: “We are aware of sheep loose in the Braeside area of Greenock and we have made contact with the farmer to retrieve the flock.”
