BBC Scotland’s debate night programme is airing tonight from Dumfries with a notable appearance from one of The National’s columnists.
Our columnist Owen Jones will be joined on the panel by a host of MSPs.
This includes SNP MSP Stuart McMillan, Labour MSP Carol Mochan, deputy leader of the Scottish Tories Meghan Gallacher and Scottish Liberal Democrats leader Alex Cole-Hamilton.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
