A 60-YEAR-OLD man has died following a crash on the A9 near Aviemore on Tuesday, March 5.
Officers were called to the crash, which involved a blue Skoda Octavia and a white Toyota Hilux pick-up around 1.45pm near to Lynwilg.
The 60-year-old male driver of the Skoda can now be named as Roy Bannerman from Evanton.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries and later died on Friday, March 8.

The driver of the Toyota Hilux, an 18-year-old man, was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness and has since been released.
Officers are continuing to appeal for information and ask that anyone with any information get in touch.
Sergeant Calum MacAulay with the Roads Policing Unit in Dingwall said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Mr Bannerman who have requested privacy at this difficult time.
“We will continue to offer them support as our investigations progress. I’d like to thank everyone who has come forward with information so far.
“We would ask that anyone who saw the vehicles prior to the incident to please get in touch. Any piece of information, no matter how small, may be vital to our investigation.”
